Mini Blog

In between micro-blogging (Twitter) and blogging (Blogger), mini blog is the prefect bite-size chunk of important information that be crafted expertly in the most efficient amount of time.  Twitter is shifting more to a referal tool to pics, articles, videos etc.  The short comments are at times interesting but it seems that the link referal is the reason Google is getting so edgy as of late.  We'll it's also certainly the ability to watch conversations - search and monitor conversations, which is more immediate that search results of static content.

The mini blog attaches itself to the core concept that a writer is the most important core of this.  Opinions are powerful and fluid, but the anchor is a bit of research, some hard evidence, a well packaging of all that with a twist of personality - human touch of the writer.

The cost of structure of a one-off is very powerful.  $250 - $500 per mini-blog (price different for audio or video segments), you get 10 in the year ($2,500 - $5,000), 10 peices of new content that is industry relevant, can be very current and draw to your site.  If you have people pushing - say via twiter, posted out of an email reminder - it completes the cycle.
