Editing Techniques

  • Tools > Internet Options > Delete Browsing History
    • Use this if you are not seeing changes you are making - clear the cache


  • Improve Editing Load by 1000%

    It had been common to set caching to "Every Visit To The Page" when editing to keep the cache clear.  It is now suggested that this be changed to "Every time I Start Internet Explorer" so that the editing source files remain in cache and to clear cache as needed rather that every page visit since it often times is not needed that often.  This will improve editing speed conciderably.



    • This coincides with text editor load files being moved into the page head tag area and compressing those files.
